With a career spanning more than 30 years, I have a wide array of professional experiences in the private sector and academia. My B.A. in Anthropology was earned from the University of South Florida, and an M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Florida, working full-time for an archaeological consulting firm throughout graduate school. Since 2011 I have served on the faculty of Eastern Kentucky University where I am an Associate Professor of Anthropology. My experiences exceed the Secretary of the Interior’s (SOI) qualifications for a professional archaeologist.
